1. How do I contact and schedule an appointment?
You can contact The Helping Space, by clicking on the link on the home page of this website. In addition, you can contact The Helping Space at 727-201-2163 or email at amyjohnsonlmhc@helping.space. We will return your call/email within 24 hours.
2. What are your rates?
Our standard rate for therapy is $145 per session. Sessions last 45-50 minutes. If you are using insurance, please see question #4 below.
If you are concerned about the cost of therapy, please discuss this with your therapist prior to scheduling, as there may be a reduced rate available.
3. I have an appointment scheduled, what do I need to do before my first appointment?
After your appointment date/time has been confirmed. You will receive an email from The Helping Space, that invites you to access the client portal. Upon accessing the portal, you will need to complete all forms that have been assigned to you in the portal. Please complete your forms within 24 hours of receiving the link, otherwise your appointment may be rescheduled.
4. Do you accept insurance?
Yes, we accept Aetna, BayCare EAP, Blue Cross Blue Shield/FL Blue, Cigna, United, Oscar, Optum, Oxford and Tricare. We encourage you to check with your insurance on your coverage to find out your cost (i.e co-pay, deductible, or co-insurance)
5. Where are you located?
Located in Palm Harbor, Florida in the Key West Center on the corner of Alderman and Alternate 19. Easily accessible from Dunedin, Tarpon Springs, Clearwater, Oldsmar and surrounding areas.
6. How long do sessions last and are they in-person or online?
Sessions last 45-50 minutes. Some sessions may be shorter or longer in length, due to your current needs and type of therapy being provided. We have the ability to provide in-person or online sessions.
